Hollywood Joe knows there’s nothing like an American tradition to celebrate the start of the Christmas Season, and what better way to welcome the sleigh bells and mistletoe than with a good, old fashioned parade in the heart of Hollywood?

Beginning at 5pm this Sunday, December 1st, the Hollywood Christmas Parade, which has been a staple in Hollywood for over 80 years, will once again fill the streets with celebrities including favorite TV stars and rising talent. The festivities will showcase all forms of entertainment from marching bands to rodeo performers and musical guests like Daughtry, Kenny Loggins, and Stevie Wonder. The festivities are the highlight of the Holiday season in Hollywood, and the route passes by both the Hollywood Wax Museum and Guinness World Records Museum, giving us a great front row view of the spectacular production!

Interestingly enough, Spoony created the Hollywood Wax Museum nearly 50 years ago because there weren’t enough celebrities on Hollywood Blvd. He observed that tourists along the newly-created Walk of Fame longed to see the streets paved with stars and gave them the opportunity to see famous people while in one of the most famous towns in the world.

Now the longest-running wax museum in the country, the Hollywood Wax Museum remains a quintessential landmark in Hollywood and was recognized last year among the “Heroes of Hollywood” for “bringing energy to Hollywood Boulevard, helping spread the ‘brand’ of Hollywood around the world, and supporting community efforts that build the unique quality of Hollywood.”

Hollywood Joe wants to know if you’ll be here to enjoy one of Hollywood’s favorite classic events and say “hi” to the stars in person. Share with us on Facebook!
